Cast Alloy

WI-52

WI-52 is solid-solution strengthened by tungsten and chromium, providing reliable creep resistance and strong resistance to sulfidation and oxidation in gas turbine combustion atmospheres. Its high chromium content supports performance in hot corrosion environments where nickel-base alloys may be susceptible to type I or type II attack, making it well suited for first-stage nozzle vanes and combustion liners. WI-52 is used in both aero-derivative and industrial gas turbine applications where long-interval hot corrosion resistance is required.
