Udimet 700 provides very high gamma prime volume fraction strengthening combined with cobalt and molybdenum additions for strong creep rupture and tensile performance at temperatures up to approximately 980°C. Qualified under PWA 656 and C50TF15, it has been extensively used for turbine blades, vanes, and discs in aero-engines and industrial gas turbines. Its high-strength chemistry supports both cast blade applications and forged disc applications where maximum elevated-temperature strength is the primary requirement.
282 is a gamma prime strengthened nickel-base superalloy powder with high creep strength and strong fabricability for additive manufacturing.
