René 220

René 220 is a weldable, corrosion-resistant nickel-base alloy with high niobium and chromium content that supports strong performance in moderate-temperature hot-section applications where sulfidation and oxidation resistance take priority over maximum creep strength. Its good weldability enables repair of service-degraded components. Qualified under C5DTF91 and DMD 047232, it is used for later-stage turbine vanes and blades in aero and industrial gas turbine applications.
