MAR M 004 is a precipitation-hardened alloy with hafnium additions that improve oxidation resistance and grain boundary ductility for investment cast hot-section components. Its gamma prime strengthening provides strong creep and tensile performance at temperatures up to approximately 980°C, while the balanced chromium content supports oxidation resistance. Qualified under EMS 55437, it is used for turbine blades and vanes in aerospace and military gas turbine applications.
282 is a gamma prime strengthened nickel-base superalloy powder with high creep strength and strong fabricability for additive manufacturing.
