MAR M 002

MAR M 002 is a high refractory element alloy developed specifically for directional solidification, delivering superior creep rupture life in the DS grain direction by eliminating transverse grain boundaries. Its tungsten and hafnium content provides both solid-solution strengthening and improved oxidation resistance at temperatures approaching 1000°C. Qualified under MSRR 710 and MSRR 7150, MAR M 002 is used for DS first-stage turbine blades in advanced aero-engines and military propulsion systems.
