Powder Alloy

17-4PH

17-4PH is a martensitic precipitation-hardening stainless steel powder widely used in laser powder bed fusion and metal injection molding for components requiring a combination of high tensile strength, hardness, and corrosion resistance. Qualified to UNS S17400, it serves aerospace brackets and structural hardware, medical instruments, oil and gas downhole tooling, food processing components, and general industrial parts. Its good weldability and post-build age hardening response allow mechanical properties to be tuned for specific load and corrosion requirements.
