SeAH Superalloy Technologies November Construction Update: Advancing Toward Commissioning

Building Momentum in Temple: Construction Milestones at SeAH Superalloy Technologies

Construction progress remains steady across our Temple, Texas campus as teams transition from major exterior work into system integration, interior completion, and early-stage equipment preparation. With more than 145 skilled tradespeople on-site each day across 11 partner companies, November marked a shift toward energization, infrastructure upgrades, and readiness activities for upcoming commissioning phases.

This month, sitewide utilities advanced significantly, the factory reached near-full enclosure, and key interior spaces moved closer to handover. Progress also continued across the laboratory and office buildings as permanent power, finishes, and equipment installations advanced. Together, these efforts are laying the foundation for critical work scheduled in December and early 2026.

Completed This Month

  • Factory PEMB walls, roof sheeting, trim-outs, and crane rails completed
  • Oncor transformer energization for the office
  • Laboratory moved to permanent power
  • Electrical and plumbing rough-ins completed in four of six factory zones
  • Primary dust collection ductwork completed
  • Concrete pads poured for Argon systems, chiller equipment, and pipe racks
  • Lab casework and major lab equipment (GD-MS and four LECO units) installed and operational

These milestones reflect measurable advancement toward facility readiness and support the next phase of commissioning and interior completion.

Site Infrastructure

Site development continued across the campus with major utility upgrades and long-term infrastructure improvements. Crews delivered primary water infrastructure to the entire facility and progressed coordinated work with the City of Temple to support future capacity needs.

  • 90% of site flatwork completed for roads, parking lots, and sidewalks
  • Primary water infrastructure installed
  • Upgraded sanitary line work underway with the City of Temple
  • Installation underway on 3,200 feet of Atmos natural gas lines to the facility

Factory Building

With the factory structure now enclosed, the focus has shifted toward internal systems and equipment preparation. Electrical distribution advanced as crews pulled primary wire for factory switchgear and transformers and began cabling from switchgear to distribution panels. Concrete crews completed foundational pours supporting upcoming Argon systems, chillers, and pipe racking installations.

Interior progress continued with electrical and plumbing rough-ins reaching near-completion in several zones.

  • Oncor primary wire pulled for factory switchgear and transformers
  • Cabling underway from switchgear to distribution panels
  • Concrete pads poured for Virgin Argon, Argon Recovery, chillers, and pipe racks
  • Electrical and plumbing rough-ins completed in 4 of 6 zones
  • Primary dust collection ductwork completed
  • CMU walls and rough-ins completed for Powder and Dockmaster offices

16-Ton Crane Installation

Installation of the 16-ton overhead crane was fully completed in November. Crews finalized all rail alignments and mechanical connections, bringing the crane to operational readiness. This major milestone increases material-handling capability within the factory and supports the movement of heavy equipment required as commissioning activities ramp up.

Atomizer Preparation

Full installation of the atomizer is scheduled for early December. November efforts focused on critical preparation including weldments, foundational components, and alignment work to ensure a smooth installation sequence next month.

Maintenance + Support Areas

  • Maintenance office and workspace design finalized
  • Equipment orders and deliveries initiated

Office Building

Significant energization and interior finish progress moved the office areas closer to turnover. With the Oncor transformer energized, teams advanced electrical, plumbing, and finish work throughout the building.

  • Office transformer energization completed
  • Facility window glass and glazing installed

Southwest Office Building

  • Electrical rough-in
  • Plumbing rough-in
  • Insulation
  • Gypsum ceiling rough-in
  • Two-sided walls completed
  • Tape & float finished
  • Primer and first-coat paint applied
  • Fire suppression systems advancing

Laboratory

The laboratory entered its final stage of turnover preparation. With the transition to permanent power, casework installation, tie-ins, and equipment commissioning progressed toward departmental readiness.

  • Laboratory moved to permanent power
  • Final tie-offs for electrical, plumbing, and low voltage
  • Lab casework completed
  • Lab punch walk
  • GD-MS and LECO equipment installed and operational

Looking Ahead

December will focus on atomizer installation, continued advancement of overhead systems, interior finishes, and final utility integrations across the factory and office buildings. As major infrastructure nears completion, the project is moving steadily toward key commissioning and handover phases.

“I’m proud of how our teams continue to deliver with precision, discipline, and safety. Each milestone, from site utilities to crane installation and atomizer preparation, brings us closer to realizing a world-class operation here in Temple.”
